James Tennant

James Tennant joined Arsenal from St Bernards in May 1899 and made his league debut against Leicester Fosse in September that year.

The outside left eventually went on to make 54 starts during his spell at the Club, scoring 10 goals along the way.

He made his final appearance against New Brighton Tower in April 1901 before joining Middlesbrough in a double deal with Peter Turner for £180.

Tennant later played for Watford for three seasons, where he achieved club honours.
