James Moir

Scottish wing-half James Moir signed for Arsenal from Sunderland in May 1898.

His first-team debut came four months later, away at Burslem Port Vale, and he would represent the Club on a further 44 occasions, including four FA Cup appearances.

Moir left Arsenal to join Gravesend United in the summer of 1900. He later returned to London as a player at Fulham and became Chelsea’s assistant trainer between 1908 and 1912.
