James Clark joined Arsenal from Bostal Rovers in October 1897.
The centre half spent almost two seasons at the Club but played only a bit-part role, appearing four times.
He made his league debut against Darwen in March towards the end of the 1897/88 season and would play for the final time against Leicester Fosse in September the following campaign.
