Hugh Duff enjoyed two separate spells with Arsenal between 1885 and 1900.
But the outside left only played twice after joining as an amateur from Millwall in August 1895.
He turned professional one month later and made his only league appearance in a 2-1 defeat to Leicester Fosse, in which he scored Arsenal's only goal.
Duff had made a goalscoring debut in an FA Cup victory over Leyton one year earlier at the Manor Ground.
He left Arsenal in 1900 after scoring twice in two appearances.
