Hope Robertson

Hope Robertson's Arsenal appearance record reads four games, four goals - and they were all in FA Cup qualifiers.

The inside left joined in September 1889 but struggled to make an impact and did not play in the league.

Robertson made his first-class debut against Lyndhurst one month later, starting against Thorpe and Crusaders. Arsenal were knocked out by Swifts after a 5-1 defeat.

He left in 1890 and later featured for Walsall.
