Herbert Shaw joined Arsenal from Haverton Hill in December 1898.
The forward made his league debut in the same month against Luton Town - a 6-2 victory on New Year's Eve - the first of 30 appearances for the Club.
Shaw scored nine goals during his Gunners tenure before moving on in 1900.
