Herbert Lawson joined Arsenal as an amateur from Luton Clarence in October 1924.
The outside right spent two-and-a-half years in north London after signing professional terms one month later.
Lawson made his debut in a 2-1 defeat to Burnley in February 1926 but struggled to make an impression in the first team.
He played 15 times and scored twice before transferring to Brentford in March 1927.
