Harry Woods

Harry Woods scored a steady stream of goals as an Arsenal player.

A glass worker by trade, Woods joined Arsenal in June 1923 from Newcastle United and made his league debut against his former club in August that year.

The centre forward scored 22 goals in 75 starts at Highbury, before eventually being transferred to Luton Town in August 1926.

Woods served in the Tank Corps in France during World War One, before transferring from Luton to North Shields in 1930.
