Born in the North East of England, Harry Waller joined Arsenal from local side Ashington in October 1937. A winger by trade, Waller made just nine competitive appearances in 10 years with the Club thanks to the outbreak of World War Two.
Waller served in the Army in Sicily and Italy during the war, making 11 appearances in the process.
His senior Arsenal debut came in the London War Cup against Millwall in May 1941 and he also featured in Arsenal's 1-0 FA Cup win over West Ham in January 1946.
Waller's final league appearance ended in a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa in early 1947, before Leyton Orient moved for him in July that year. Waller later returned to the North East with Ashington and Consett.
