Gordon Neilson joined Arsenal as an amateur from Glasgow United in April 1964.
He turned professional two months later before making his league debut against Everton in March 1966.
The young wing forward played once more that season and was a bit-part figure the following campaign as Arsenal finished seventh in Division One.
After 17 starts and three goals he transferred to Brentford in October 1968.
