George Buist

George Buist was the brother of former Gunner Robert - although the pair never shared a pitch.

The full back spent one season at the Club after joining from Greenock Morton in September 1896.

He made his league debut in a 6-1 victory against Gainsborough Trinity in October that year and played six times over the campaign.

Buist also started in Woolwich Arsenal's 8-0 defeat to Loughborough, which remains the Club's heaviest-ever defeat. He left in 1897.
