Frank Townrow

Frank Townrow joined Arsenal as a young hopeful in November 1920, before signing professional forms five months later.

But the forward made just nine starts in his five years at Highbury, plying his trade mainly in the Football Combinations with the reserves.

He did score twice in an Arsenal shirt, however, after making his senior debut against Sheffield United in October 1922.

Townrow eventually joined Dundee in summer 1926.
