Scottish outside left Frank McAvoy spent three years at the Club as they attempted to gain promotion to Division One.
The Gunners finished seventh, 10th and fifth during this time, with McAvoy clocking up 48 starts and scoring 10 times.
He was suspended by Arsenal in March 1898 and joined Brighton that summer.
