Edward Kington was a left half who joined Arsenal from Charlton Athletic in 1895, before turning professional in September 1896.
Kington amassed 28 appearances in the Kent League in Arsenal’s colours while his solitary competitive appearance arrived in a 5-2 FA Cup home win over Leyton in December 1896.
During his time with Arsenal, Kington was part of the team that won Kent League honours (1896/97) and the Sevenoaks Charity Cup (1897/98).
