Edward Humpish’s Arsenal career was over in less than 12 months.
Signed from Wigan Borough at the start of 1930, the half back made his debut away at Derby County and went on to make a further two senior appearances before being sold to Bristol City for £450 in December the same year.
A move to Stockport County followed and, after retiring, Humpish became a trainer at Rochdale.
