Having joined Arsenal from Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC in November 2015, Danielle has been a regular feature in the Arsenal side since.  

During her time at Arsenal, the creative midfielder has won three trophies. Danielle was especially instrumental in Arsenal’s 2018/19 Barclays FA Women’s Super League title-winning season, where she scored an impressive 13 goals, providing 8 assists. Danielle has made over 110 appearances for Arsenal, and is a member of Arsenal’s 100-club.

A senior international, Danielle made her debut for the Netherlands national side in December 2010. Van de Donk was an influential player for the Netherlands side that won the 2017 UEFA Women’s European Championship alongside fellow Arsenal players Jill Roord and Vivianne Miedema.

The trio were also involved in the Netherlands side that finished runners-up in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
