Daniel Boateng

Daniel was released by Arsenal at the end of the 2013/14 season after 11 years at the club.

The imposing centre back progressed through the Gunners’ youth ranks and signed a professional contract in 2010, having been made reserve team captain that season.

Daniel made his first-team debut year later in the League Cup win against Bolton Wanderers, coming on as an 84th-minute substitute for Thomas Vermaelen.

The defender then joined League Two side Swindon Town in January 2012 before a brief spell at Oxford United and a season-long loan at Hibernian.

Daniel was released on his return to Arsenal upon expiry of his contract.
