Brian Tawse joined Arsenal as a hopeful youngster in March 1963 but struggled to break into the first team during his two-year spell.
It took just one month for the Club to hand Tawse a professional contract at Highbury but it was over a year before he would make his senior debut.
The winger tasted his first league experience in a goalless draw at West Bromwich Albion in November 1964, the first of five appearances in Arsenal colours.
Tawse had featured heavily for the team in the Football Combination but eventually transferred to Brighton and Hove Albion in December 1965.
