Bill Paterson spent just over a year at Arsenal after joining from Dundee United for £300 in January 1928.
The goalkeeper made his debut a month later in a 4-3 league defeat to Derby County, the first of 15 starts for the Club.
Paterson played five times that season but, despite adding a further 10 appearances the following campaign, he struggled for a regular place.
He left for Airdrieonians for £475 in July 1929.
