Originally a striker and then a full-back, Andrew Young spent five years with Arsenal in the 1920s.
Leslie Knighton paid £2,000 to bring him to London from Aston Villa, a high price at the time. Young's debut came against his former club in March 1922 and he started the first 11 games of the following season as a centre forward.
After another spell up front he converted to full-back during the 1923/24 season but his role was limited. His appearances tally failed to hit double figures in the three seasons that followed and he moved to Bournemouth in 1927.
