Alex McConnell

Alex McConnell became an Arsenal player when he signed from Everton on November 19, 1897.

A Scottish full back, McConnell made his debut eight days later in a home clash against Blackpool.

Around 18 months later, after making his final Arsenal appearance in a north London derby at Tottenham Hotspur, McConnell was on the move again. He went across London to join Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 1899 and later went on to represent Grimsby Town.
