WHAT HAPPENED
Our under-18s fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with West Ham at London Colney on Saturday.
Billy Vigar was the hero, scoring a stoppage-time equaliser in his first appearance of the season after Charles Sagoe Jr had pulled one goal back with 20 minutes to go.
Khayon Edwards came close to giving us an early lead, but was denied a 10th goal of the season as his effort was cleared off the line.
The visitors threatened shortly after, Divin Mubama racing in on goal, but could only hit the post when through one-on-one.
West Ham then took the lead 29 minutes in, as captain Taylor Foran was caught on the ball, Mubama this time making no mistake and slotting past Remy Mitchell.
Dan Micciche's side found themselves two goals down just five minutes later, Oliver Scarles' cross-cum-shot catching out Mitchell who could only watch as the ball sailed beyond him.
We started the second half with real intent and were denied a penalty when Sagoe Jr went tumbling down in the box after a challenge.
Our pressured paid off as Jack Henry-Francis' excellent tackle started a purposeful attack, ending with Sagoe Jr firing one in with his left foot from 20 yards out.
We continued our push for an equaliser and were rewarded deep into stoppage time, as Vigar came off the bench to send a looping header beyond Jacob Knightbridge.
WHAT IT MEANS
Micciche's side remain fifth in the U-18 Premier League table, just four points behind league leaders Chelsea.
WHAT'S NEXT
We will now prepare for a trip away to face Chelsea in a fortnight.
The game will take place Saturday, December 4, with kick-off at 11am (UK).
