What did you gain from doing the Arsenal Gap Year?
I learnt that it was possible to work full time in football and that that was exactly what I wanted to do. It filled me with confidence and gave me the motivation to go and coach around the world.
What was your favourite part of the programme?
Training every day with the Arsenal coaches and with the other gap year students really accelerated my learning. I learnt so much so quickly about how to run a session and how to communicate during a session. A lot of those lessons I learnt, from peers especially, have stuck with me all the way through my coaching career.
How would you describe your overall experience on the Arsenal Gap Year?
Life changing & eye opening.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of doing the Arsenal Gap Year?
Don’t think twice.
