What did you gain from doing the Arsenal Gap Year?

The Arsenal Gap Year was a foot in the door for me. The programme was a year of plentiful learning and experience where I gained valuable coaching skills in a fun and challenging environment. I believe I have a solid foundation which makes me stand out and prepares me for working in coaching. I managed to get casual work after the programme which was a huge achievement for me.

What was your favourite part of the programme?

My favourite parts of the programme were travelling to my placements; the feeling of travelling to a different country doing what you enjoy was exciting. Exploring different countries were also some of my highlights. 

How would you describe your overall experience on the Arsenal Gap Year? 

My overall experience on the Arsenal Gap Year was positive, thrilling and full of learning. I met some fantastic people and shared great memories along the way.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking of doing the Arsenal Gap Year?

My advice to anyone thinking of doing the Arsenal Gap Year it would be to prepare well, take notes and document as much as possible.
