Arsenal stars launch new kit in style

Bukayo Saka Arsenal in the Community

We are proud that £5 from every new home shirt bought directly through us ahead of the new season (May 19 to August 5 inclusive) is going to The Arsenal Foundation to support local community initiatives.

In celebration of the people and places that make our community, and to mark the unveiling of our new kit, a number of our players visited some of the local projects that have benefited from donations made by The Arsenal Foundation.

We are also proud of the fact that Arsenal in the Community supports local people of all ages and from every corner of society. While Bukayo Saka was testing himself against the experienced older hands at Finsbury Park Bowls Club, Leah Williamson was getting in the ring with local youngsters at Islington Boxing Club and Granit Xhaka was enjoying some playing time at The Arsenal Hub with North London United, a football club for young people with Down Syndrome.

It didn’t end there. Gabriel Martinelli opted for some quiet time at the Maha Devi Yoga Centre, while Emile Smith Rowe and Lotte Wubben-Moy practised their ball skills with children at Tufnell Park Primary School, and strikers Stina Blackstenius and Vivianne Miedema went for something completely different at New North Academy Fencing Club. As if they weren’t sharp enough in front of goal…
