A prolific forward, Khayon combines pace with a predatory instinct in front of goal to play the role of centre forward or drop deeper and link the play from a No. 10 position. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Leyton Orient, where he made seven appearances in League One. Prior to that he scored nine goals for us at youth level from 12 starts in all competitions. A natural goalscorer for us since he joined the pre-academy as a five-year old, Khayon top scored for our under-18s with 18 goals in 20 appearances in 2021/22.
