WHAT HAPPENED
A spirited second-half performance saw us come from behind to draw 2-2 at the LCFC Training Ground against Leicester City on Tuesday afternoon.
Under-18s boss, Jack Wilshere, made several changes to the previous squad that played in the reverse fixture - hoping to amend the 2-1 defeat in late March.
But it was the hosts that started on the front foot, with Foxes forward, Leon Briggs, scoring after just six minutes.
And Leicester extended their lead just after the half hour mark, through Amani Richards.
We started the second half positively and halved the deficit after 51 minutes through Seb Ferdinand’s looping header.
Two minutes later, we were level - Michal Rosiak’s in-swinging corner going all the way through a crowded penalty area and in to give us a point on the road.
WHAT IT MEANS
The result sees us remain in ninth place, with 20 points. We now sit one point behind Southampton.
WHAT’S NEXT
Our next game sees us face West Ham at Emirates Stadium in the FA Youth Cup Final on Tuesday, April 25.
Kick-off is at 7pm (UK) - tickets are available here.
