WHAT HAPPENED

We suffered our first defeat of the season as we were beaten in the north London derby on Saturday morning.

As you would expect in a feisty clash, the game started with strong tackles going as both sides tried to establish a foothold in the first half.

We created the first opportunity of the game, but Osman Kamara’s left-foot strike flashed just wide after some brilliant build-up play.

However, the away side struck first when Tyrese Hall’s delivery was deflected into his own net by Maldini Kacurri.

The visitors doubled their lead shortly before the break through James Rowswell's near post header from a corner.

After the interval, we started sharper and were close to pulling one back when Michal Rosiak forced Carey Bloedorn into a good save after a short corner routine.

But Tottenham were ruthless and scored two quick-fire goals to extend their lead through Mikey Moore and Yusuf Akhamrich.

Kamara gave us a route back into the game when he got on the end of Seb Ferdinand’s cross at the back post.

Wilshere brought Chido Obi on for his first appearance at this level and he almost made the perfect impact but his goal was disallowed for offside. We had the ball in the back of the net again but Ferdinand was penalised for a handball just before he stroked the ball in.

Ferdinand did eventually manage to get on the scoresheet from the penalty spot with a little over 10 minutes to go after Kamara was fouled.

However, despite our dominance in the final few moments, we were unable to take anything from the game.
