Omar Rekik has joined League One side, Wigan Athletic on a short-term loan deal until January 2024.
The 21-year-old defender joined us in January 2021, when he signed from Hertha Berlin.
Omar, a Tunisian international, spent the beginning of last season on loan in his country of birth playing for Dutch side, Sparta Rotterdam.
In January 2023, Omar agreed to join the team he will be playing his football with this season, when he joined Wigan Athletic on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

The loan is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
