Our women’s under-16 Academy team has reached the final of the PGA Cup once again!
Formerly known as The Girls FA Youth Cup, last season, we clinched the title after a thrilling penalty shootout, marking a fantastic double league and cup winning season for our team.
We're thrilled about our under-16s making it to the final for another year. Throughout the tournament, the team has shown impressive dedication to learning and improving each week. They've also demonstrated remarkable unity and commitment during challenging moments.
Our journey began in October 2023 against Reading, where Abi Conway scored two goals to secure victory. Then, in a close match against our local rivals Tottenham, Gabi Zyla's goal was the only difference as we sealed another win. Next up was Leicester, and despite a tough game featuring five goals, Abi Conway’s strike and a Kyri Teer-Hutchins’ double helped us secure a 3-2 victory.
Now, we're gearing up to face Manchester United in a repeat of last year’s final, which will be held at Northampton Town FC's Sixfields Stadium on Saturday, April 27, kicking off at 11am.
Tickets for the game are free, and our team, led by Head Coach Dominic Edwards, would greatly appreciate your support.
Congratulations to our under-16s players and coaching staff, and best of luck in the final!
