When is the Champions League knockout stage draw?

Arsenal's ball used for the Champions League draw

Having won four of our six group-stage matches, we booked our spot in the knockout stages of the Champions League which will take place early in 2024.

But when will we know who our opponents will be, and who could we face? Everything you need to know is right here:

When is the draw?

We will discover who we will face in the round of 16 on Monday, December 18 at 11am UK time when the draw takes place in Nyon, Switzerland.

It will be streamed live on UEFA.com, as well as the TNT Sports YouTube channel.

Who could we face?

The following teams have made it through to the last 16:

Group winners

Arsenal (ENG)
Bayern Munich (GER)
Manchester City (ENG)
Real Madrid (ESP)
Atletico Madrid (ESP)
Real Sociedad (ESP)
Borussia Dortmund (GER)
Barcelona (ESP)

Runners-up

Copenhagen (DEN)
Inter (ITA)
RB Leipzig (GER)
Napoli (ITA)
Lazio (ITA)
PSV Eindhoven (NED)
Paris St Germain (FRA)
Porto (POR)

As we won our group, we will be seeded for the draw and will face one of the eight unseeded group runners-up. However, we cannot face another English team or a team from our group, so we won't be returning to PSV Eindhoven until at least the quarter-finals.

When will the ties take place?

The round of 16 will be played over four weeks in the spring. The first legs will be February 13-14 or February 20-21 2024, while the return fixtures will be on either March 5-6 or March 12-13.

As a seeded team, we will host the second leg at Emirates Stadium.
