Voting is now open for our men’s Player of the Month for September, and there are four contenders to choose from.
We had six matches across the month, winning five and drawing the north London derby, scoring 15 goals in the process.
Evaluate which of these players deserve the accolade, and then vote for your favourite below - but be quick as there are just 48 hours to vote!
Bukayo Saka
After scoring the opening goal of our UEFA Champions League return in the 4-0 win at home to PSV Eindhoven, Saka played a pivotal role in September’s north London derby.
Having forced Cristian Romero into an own goal to give us the lead initially, Bukayo scored from the penalty spot to put us 2-1 up in the second half. He then gave us the lead in our 4-0 win at Bournemouth.
Declan Rice
Declan became an early contender for the star of September when he scored in the sixth minute of added time to put us ahead in our 3-1 win against Manchester United.
He featured in each of our September fixtures, aside from the 1-0 win against Brentford in the Carabao Cup.
Martin Odegaard
Our captain led by example yet again in September, initially by scoring the equalising goal in our 3-1 win against Manchester United, instantly after Marcus Rashford had given the away side the lead.
Martin also scored the final goal of our 4-0 win against PSV, as well as the second in our 4-0 victory at Bournemouth.
William Saliba
He might not have been directly involved in any of our goals in September, but William Saliba was a key part of what we did well defensively throughout the month.
He played every minute of our clean-sheet victories against Everton, PSV and Bournemouth.
