We’ll visit Bramall Lane on Monday night - the oldest major stadium in the world still hosting professional association football matches and a venue we’ve been tackling Sheffield United at since 1904.
Since then we have enjoyed some memorable matches at the home of the Blades, and have recorded some important victories there during title run-ins and on our way to cup success.
To get you in the mood for the next instalment, here are some classics in Yorkshire from more recent times:
April 6, 1991
Sheffield United 0-2 Arsenal
We maintained top spot of the First Division with six games to go courtesy of this win against the Blades. The deadlock was broken 10 minutes in when a David Seaman punt was brilliantly flicked into Kevin Campbell’s path by Alan Smith, and his strike partner blasted past Simon Tracey to net his seventh goal in his previous eight outings.
The game hung in the balance as we scrapped away trying to protect a precious three points, but on 73 minutes Campbell was first to latch onto a Lee Dixon clearance and played it to Smith who effortlessly stroked the ball first-time into the top corner to net number 19 of what would be a glorious campaign for himself and the club.

Sheffield United 0-3 Arsenal
As usual in the League Cup, Arsene Wenger put his faith in a youthful side and a line-up including teenagers Theo Walcott, Nicklas Bendtner, Denilson and Kieran Gibbs cruised to a fourth-round victory. It began when Eduardo got the scoreboard ticking over with a rocket of a strike from the edge of the box on eight minutes.
The Croatian then completed his brace five minutes after the restart when he tucked home following a great Gibbs pass, and after Walcott struck a post, Denilson added a third when he saw a shot from range take a deflection and loop into the net to secure a spot in the next round of the competition.

Sheffield United 1-2 Arsenal
This was another cup encounter, and we booked a place in the last four of the FA Cup in dramatic circumstances. The Blades thought they had found an early advantage but John Lundstram's header was ruled out by VAR for offside, and instead we grabbed the opener when Nicolas Pepe converted a penalty on 25 minutes.
John Egan had also had a goal chalked off for the hosts due to offside, but with three minutes to go a clearance by Saed Kolasinac struck Rob Holding and allowed David McGoldrick to seemingly send the game to extra-time. However, moments later Dani Ceballos picked up possession and despite a tight angle threaded the ball between Dean Henderson and his near post to send us to Wembley.

Sheffield United 0-3 Arsenal
We were forced to play behind closed doors at Bramall Lane the following season, but we put in a display that would have had our supporters bouncing in the away end. This victory started when Alexandre Lacazette put us in front on 35 minutes after some sharp passing around the box allowed him to beat Aaron Ramsdale between the Blades posts.
In the second half came a nice moment for Gabriel Martinelli who netted for the first time since January 2020 as he tapped home after Ramsdale saved a Pepe shot to put his injury issues behind him, before Lacazette wrapped up the points five minutes from time when he was picked out by an excellent Thomas Partey pass.
