Pre-Match Report

U21s preview: Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur

arsenal preview

Our young Gunners will be looking for back-to-back wins when we host Tottenham in the north London derby on Friday, March 8 - kick-off at Meadow Park is at 7pm (UK), you can stream all the action live for free on Arsenal.com and the official app.

We currently sit in third place with 30 points from 15 games played and are just three points behind West Ham United in second place.

We'll be going into the game with confidence after we came from behind to beat Chelsea 4-2 in a thrilling London derby at Kingsmeadow last week thanks to goals from Taylor Foran, James Sweet, Ethan Nwaneri and Nathan Butler-Oyedeji.

A look at Tottenham

Our north London rivals are currently top of the Premier League 2 with 34 points. Spurs have had a good season by winning 11, losing one and drawing one out of their 13 games. A win would for us close the gap on them to just one point, albeit they would have two games in hand.

Spurs suffered their first league loss of the season last week, losing 2-1 at home to Everton and finishing the game with 10 men.

Leading the charge for them is Will Lankshear who has scored 12 league goals this season. Also, Jamie Donley has registered four goals and 10 assists this season.

How to watch

You can attend the game in person, and entry is free at Meadow Park for all our Premier League 2 fixtures.

However, if you cannot attend, you can stream all the action live for free on Arsenal.com and the official app. You can tune in five minutes before at 6.55pm (UK) to catch all the action, with Max Jones and Nigel Winterburn on commentary duties.

We will also be sharing post-match interviews with Mehmet Ali and one of his young Gunners, as well as highlights of all the action.
