Pre-Match Report

U21s preview | Arsenal v Leeds United

amario and taylor

We’ll be looking to bounce back to winning ways as we host Leeds United in the Premier League 2 on Friday, February 9 at Meadow Park - kick-off is at 7pm (UK).

Mehmet Ali’s young Gunners currently sit in fourth spot in the division with 23 points, and a victory would see us climb above Fulham into third place.

Our last outing a couple of weeks ago saw us narrowly lose 2-1 away to Wolves which put an end to our four-game winning streak in the league.

 A look at Leeds

Turning our attention to our visitors, they’ve struggled this season and their recent form has been indifferent with them winning just one out of their last nine games in all competitions.

In the Premier League 2, they sit in 20th place, with 10 points after 10 games. Their three league wins this season have come against Brighton, Stoke City and Manchester United.

How to follow

You can attend the game in person, and entry is free at Meadow Park for all our Premier League 2 fixtures.

However, if you cannot attend, we will provide updates throughout the game on our academy Twitter page, and a match report will be published on Arsenal.com after the final whistle.

We will also share post-match interviews with Mehmet Ali and one of his young Gunners, as well as highlights of all the action.
