Our under-21s encountered an eventful 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League 2 on Monday night.
The highlight of the match was undoubtedly the return of first-team defender Jurrien Timber, marking his first appearance since recovering from an ACL injury suffered in August.
Timber made an immediate impact, putting us ahead with a spectacular strike from the edge of the box into the top corner after just eight minutes. Shortly after, we doubled our lead through Amario Cozier-Duberry's penalty.
However, the hosts scored two quick-fire goals before the break to secure a point.
