Tyreece John-Jules joins Ipswich Town on loan

Tyreece John-Jules

Tyreece John-Jules has joined League One side Ipswich Town on loan for the 2022/23 season.

The 21-year-old forward gained further experience during two loan spells last season, spending the first half of the season at Blackpool, where he made 12 appearances, before moving to Sheffield Wednesday in January, where he featured 13 times.

A prolific goalscorer for our Under-18s and Under-23s in recent seasons, Tyreece has regularly trained with the first team and scored in a friendly against Al-Nasr Dubai SC during the squad’s mid-season visit in March 2019.

The England Youth international has been in first team matchday squad in the Premier League and FA Cup, and was also a squad member for the 2020 FA Community Shield victory over Liverpool.

Tyreece, who progressed through our Academy system, has also spent loans spells with Doncaster Rovers and Lincoln City in recent seasons.

We wish Tyreece all the best during his time with Ipswich Town.

The loan deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
