Leandro Trossard was in fine form during our final game of our US tour against Barcelona.
The Belgium international was calm and composed in possession throughout, displaying fine footwork and close control, and he capped off his impressive display with two second-half goals.
First, a driven effort back across goal with his left foot into the bottom right corner, before doubling his tally with a first-time finish from an inviting Kieran Tierney delivery.

Yeah, really pleased of course. We wanted to end on a positive note and I think we’ve done that against one of the biggest clubs in the world, so we’re really happy with the win.
on whether we could have scored more…
Yeah, of course, but we scored a lot already and I think we must be happy with that. We had some nice goals as well and let’s enjoy it.
on having his first pre-season at Arsenal…
That always helps a lot, of course, if you can have a full pre-season with the guys. It’s been an amazing 10 days and like I said we wanted to end on a positive note, we’re happy with that and now we can go back to London.
on how much hard work has gone in over our USA tour…
A lot, a lot to be honest. We want to prepare in the best possible way and I think we were on the right track and like I said, we want to keep going.
on his excitement at seeing our supporters at Emirates Stadium again…
Yeah, really excited to be honest. We know what they can bring for us in the stadium and we’re looking forward to it.
