Team news: Zinchenko returns to face Aston Villa

Oleksandr Zinchenko celebrates our win against Everton

Oleksandr Zinchenko has been named in today’s starting line-up for today’s game against Aston Villa, in the only change Mikel Arteta has made to his starting line-up.

The Ukrainian came off the bench against Luton Town in midweek to play a key role in our late 4-3 success, and he is preferred to Jakub Kiwior for the encounter at Villa Park with the Polish international named as a substitute.

However Mikel will be in the stands for this one after picking up a third booking of the season against the Hatters, while Martin Odegaard will make his 100th Premier League appearance, becoming the 67th Arsenal player to reach the milestone.

Unai Emery has also kept it simple for this one and has unsurprisingly named the same starting XI that beat Manchester City on Wednesday.

That means that the in-form Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey are in the team, despite the Jamaican international picking up a knock in the victory over the reigning champions.

Aston Villa: Martinez, Konsa, Carlos, Torres, Digne, Douglas Luiz, Kamara, Bailey, Tielemans, McGinn, Watkins.
Subs: Marschall, Cash, Moreno, Lenglet, Dendoncker, Ramsey, Diaby, Zaniolo, Duran.

Arsenal: White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Rice, Odegaard, Havertz, Saka, Martinelli, Jesus.
Subs: Ramsdale, Cedric, Walters, Kiwior, Jorginho, Elneny, Nelson, Trossard, Nketiah.
