Team News: Trossard starts and Jesus on the bench

Gabriel Jesus

For the first time since November, Gabriel Jesus is included in the matchday squad for our trip to Fulham.

The Brazilian forward has missed 15 games with a knee injury sustained at the World Cup, but returns to take his place on the bench for this big Premier League clash.

Leandro Trossard is fit to start up front, having been withdrawn during the first half of our win over Bournemouth. He missed the midweek trip to Lisbon and is one of five changes from that line up in the Europa League.

Captain Martin Odegaard also returns after shaking off illness, while Aaron Ramsdale, Gabriel and Thomas Partey also come back in.

Granit Xhaka, rested for the game against Bournemouth also starts. Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka are in the forward line with Trossard.

For the visitors, former Gunner Bernd Leno starts in goal, but Willian misses out.

Arsenal: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saka, Trossard.

Subs: Turner, Tierney, Tomiyasu, Holding, Jorginho, Vieira, Smith Rowe, Nelson, Jesus
