Team news: Tomiyasu starts against Sevilla

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Mikel Arteta has made one change to his side for tonight’s Champions League game against Sevilla, with Takehiro Tomiyasu coming into the side.

The Japanese international impressed off the bench in our draw at Chelsea on Saturday and is handed a start in Spain, with Oleksandr Zinchenko named on the bench.

Also amongst our replacements, Aaron Ramsdale returns to the matchday squad after missing the Chelsea game for the birth of his first child and is named on the bench, but Thomas Partey misses out with a muscle issue.

Diego Alonso meanwhile has opted not to make any changes to the first line-up he named as Sevilla coach last weekend when they drew 1-1 with Real Madrid.

That means there are starts for Sergio Ramos, Ivan Rakitic and Jesus Navas, with former Premier League stars Erik Lamela and Suso named on the bench.

Sevilla: Nyland, Navas, Gudelj, Ramos, Acuna, Soumare, Sow, Rakitic, Lukebakio, Ocampos, En-Nesyri.

Subs: Dmitrovic, Juanlu, Pedrosa, Bade, Gattoni, Nianzou, Torres, Jordan, Suso, Lamela, Mir, Diaz.

Arsenal: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu, Jorginho, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Jesus.

Subs: Ramsdale, Hein, Zinchenko, Cedric, Kiwior, Elneny, Havertz, Vieira, Smith Rowe, Trossard, Nelson, Nketiah.
