Summer signings Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko have been named in our first starting line-up of the Premier League season, as two of three players making their official Gunners debuts at Crystal Palace this evening.
The two recruits from Manchester City are joined by William Saliba in the starting XI, as Mikel Arteta names the same side that started the convincing pre-season victories against Chelsea and Sevilla.
That means that Gabriel partners Saliba in the heart of defence, with Ben White the other full-back. Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka and captain Martin Odegaard make up a midfield trio, with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli joining Jesus in attack.
Meanwhile, Kieran Tierney returns to the bench which also includes another new face in Matt Turner.
Palace have named recent recruit Cheick Doucoure in their side who makes his Premier League bow, with fellow new boys Chris Richards, Malcolm Ebiowei and Sam Johnstone amongst the replacements.
After a promising pre-season Christian Benteke is missing from the matchday squad, with Odsonne Eduoard named up front, supported by Wilfried Zaha.
Palace: Guaita, Clyne, Guehi, Andersen, Mitchell, Schlupp, Doucoure, Ayew, Eze, Zaha, Edouard. Subs: Johnstone, Ward, Richards, Riedewald, Milivojevic, Hughes, Plange, Mateta, Ebiowei.
