Team news: Saka and Rice return to starting XI

Bukayo Saka celebrates

Bukayo Saka is back in the starting XI after missing out in our 2-0 win over Luton Town on Wednesday.

The winger has shaken off a tight hamstring and starts against Brighton & Hove Albion, one of four changes from our midweek game.

Declan Rice also returns having only featured as a sub against Luton, with Jorginho coming back into midfield as well at the expense of Thomas Partey.

Gabriel Jesus starts on the left of the attack, as he did against Manchester City last weekend.

Ben White starts at the back to make his 100th Premier League appearance for us – he’s missed just seven league games since making his debut on the opening day of the 20121/22 season.

The rest of the back four is made up of William Saliba, Gabriel and Alex Zinchenko, with David Raya continuing in goal, after five clean sheets in his last six league appearances.

As for the hosts, former Gunner Danny Welbeck returns to the starting lineup after being used as a sub in their goalless draw at Brentford on Wednesday. He’s scored four times against us since leaving.
