It’s north London derby day and team news has arrived!
Jonas Eidevall has named three changes to the starting XI that defeated Manchester United at Emirates Stadium in February.
Our No 1 Manuela Zinsberger replaces Sabrina D’Angelo between the sticks with the latter yet to return from international duty from Canada at the Gold Cup.
Our backline remains unchanged with Katie McCabe once again filling in at right back, but our bench has been boosted with the return of Leah Williamson, who could be set to play in front of a sold-out crowd at Emirates Stadium for the first time in her career.
Lia Walti, Victoria Pelova and captain Kim Little form our midfield trio, while Caitlin Foord and Alessia Russo return to the starting XI at left wing and centre forward respectively, replacing Cloe Lacasse (Gold Cup) and Stina Blackstenius. Beth Mead keeps her place on the right wing.
Our head coach has plenty of game changers and youth on the bench too. See below for our full matchday squad:
XI: Zinsberger, McCabe, Codina, Wubben-Moy, Catley, Walti, Pelova, Little (c), Mead, Russo, Foord
Subs: Williams, Bouhaddi, Williamson, Reid, Cooney-Cross, Maanum, Earl, V. Lia, Blackstenius
