In his first Champions League line-up, Mikel Arteta has handed starts to Lenadro Trossard, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus as he aims to kick off the group stage with a win against PSV Eindhoven.
The boss was forced into one alteration from his side that started Sunday’s win at Everton with Gabriel Martinelli picking up a hamstring issue, and goalscorer Trossard once again takes the Brazilian’s spot in the line-up.
However he has also opted to hand starts to Jesus and Havertz, with Eddie Nketiah and Fabio Vieira dropping to our bench, which also includes Mohamed Elneny for the first time since January after recovering from his long injury lay-off.
PSV have made two changes to their side, with Patrick van Aanholt and Ramalho dropping out the team, with Jordan Teze and Shurandy Sambo replacing the duo.
