Team News: Havertz returns for trip to Bournemouth

Havertz returns to face Bournemouth

Mikel Arteta is able to welcome back Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and William Saliba to the starting line-up for our trip to Bournemouth.

All three missed our midweek win at Brentford in the Carabao Cup, but return for the Premier League clash. In fact there is just one change to the side that drew 2-2 with Tottenham last weekend – Kai Havertz replaces Fabio Vieira.

It means David Raya continues in goal after Aaron Ramsdale’s midweek outing. Ben White, Saliba, Gabriel and Alex Zinchenko make up the back four.

Rice is fit enough to start in midfield, having been taken off at half-time last Sunday, with Saka, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus once again filling the forward positions.

Leandro Trossard is fit enough to return to the bench after missing two games with a hamstring complaint. Vieira is also among the substitutes after missing the Brentford game.

The hosts make one change from their last Premier League encounter – a 3-1 defeat at Brighton – Marcos Senesi replaces Lloyd Kelly.

Arsenal: Raya, White, Zinchenko, Saliba, Gabriel, Rice, Odegaard ©, Havertz, Saka, Nketiah, Jesus. Subs: Ramsdale, Kiwior, Elneny, Tomiyasu, Vieira, Nelson, Smith Rowe, Jorginho, Trossard.
