We're proud to announce that we will be represented at this season’s eFootball.Pro League, run by our partner KONAMI.
Following on from last season’s success, which amassed over 15 million views on YouTube, we will once again feature in the elite competition which is exclusively for professional clubs.
Kicking off on December 12, we will be represented by Yan Sonneveld, Yos Sonneveld and Pedro Barbosa as the trio look to improve on last season’s eighth-placed finish.
“I’m very happy that I have signed with Arsenal,” commented the captain, Yos.
“Arsenal is such a big club in the Premier League and to be this year’s team captain is very special for me – it’s a huge honour and we will endeavour to represent the club in the best way possible.
“We have a good group of players and our main goal is to reach the top six in the regular season, but of course we also have the ambition to go all the way.”
Due to the ongoing pandemic, eFootball.Pro matchdays will all be played online and our first match against FC Schalke 04 will be livestreamed on our official Twitch channel on Saturday, December 12 at 1.40pm (GMT).
Having joined as the club’s official video game partner in 2017, KONAMI signed a three-year extension to the partnership last year. This coincided with the PES League 2019 Word Finals, which were hosted at Emirates Stadium and attended by Robert Pires.
