Saka and Trossard up for PL Player of the Month

Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka

Both Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard have been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for March, and your votes can help them win the prize.

The duo are included in a six-man shortlist of the best performers from the month, as they look to follow in Martin Odegaard's footsteps who came out on top in November/December.

Buyako started the month with a goal and assist in our 4-0 win against Everton, and ended it with three goal involvements in Sunday's win over Crystal Palace, which saw him get on the scoresheet twice to become the first player to reach double figures for goals and assists in the division this term.

Meanwhile, no-one recorded more assists in the league than Leandro's five across the month, which included three in one half against Fulham - the first player ever to achieve that milestone in the first half of a Premier League game. He also set up goals for Gabriel Martinelli against the Toffees, and Granit Xhaka on the weekend.

The other four contenders for the prize are Newcastle United's Alexander Isak, who netted three times during March, as did Liverpool's Mohamed Salah. Brighton & Hove Albion's Alexis Mac Allister and Tyrone Mings of Aston Villa are also recognised for their sides' impressive form over recent weeks.

You can vote for either of our players now - as well as select Mikel Arteta as Manager of the Month - with the public's votes being combined with those of a panel of football experts to determine the winner.
