Bukayo Saka and William Saliba are contenders for the 2023/24 Premier League Young Player of the Season award.
Our pair have been recognised for their contributions in aiding our title challenge, and are on the eight-player shortlist for the annual prize.
William has been an ever-present, playing every minute of all 36 of our league matches so far - Wolves’ Max Kilman is the only other outfield player to claim that feat.
The 23-year-old’s 17 clean sheets is more than any other player in the division has recorded this term, and he has also chipped in with two goals at the other end in wins against Burnley and West Ham United.
Bukayo meanwhile continues to hit new heights, and his 16 goals in the competition is more than he has achieved in any other campaign in his career to date.
An additional nine assists mean he has 25 goal involvements, the same tally as last term with two games to go, and he leads the club’s charts in terms of both goals scored and created.
There are six other players on the shortlist, including last season’s winner Erling Haaland and Manchester City teammate Phil Foden - winner of the Football Writers’ Player of the Year award.
Alexander Isak and Cole Palmer’s fine goalscoring seasons for Newcastle United and Chelsea respectively see them get the nod, while Manchester United’s breakout star Kobbie Mainoo and Tottenham defender Destiny Udogie complete the line-up.
The winner will be selected after supporters’ votes are combined with the views of a panel, and you can help our duo claim the prize by voting now until midday on Monday, May 13.
