Ramsdale nominated for PL Save of the Month

Aaron Ramsdale

Aaron Ramsdale's superb late stop to deny Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has been nominated for the Premier League's Save of the Month for April, and your votes can help him win.

Having won March's award, Rambo is looking to claim the prize in back-to-back months following his heroics at Anfield that earned us a 2-2 draw.

With the game entering the final minute, the Reds pushed forward and Trent Alexander-Arnold picked out Salah in the area. The Egyptian controlled the ball and swiftly curled a shot towards the top corner which looked destined to find its target, only for Aaron to dive full-stretch and get his fingertips to the ball to push it around the post and keep us level.

Ramsdale's rivals this month include two former Gunners - Lukasz Fabianski stopping Romain Perraud during West Ham's game against Southampton, and Bernd Leno managing to keep Erling Haaland at bay during Fulham's game against Manchester City.

The other options are David de Gea's denying Joelinton in the Newcastle United v Manchester United fixture, Leicester City's Daniel Iversen saving from Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke, and Kepa Arrizabalaga clawing away an Evan Ferguson header when Chelsea played Brighton.

You can vote for Aaron right now, with the public vote being combined with a panel of experts to determine the winner.
